14th March to 15th March
by JCI Mayo
JCI Mayo is delighted to host the 2020 JCI Ireland Spring Conference from Fri 8th - Sun 10th May at the historic Mount Falcon Estate!
Every year, JCI Ireland hosts Spring Conference, a weekend of Public Speaking, Debating, Networking and fun!
This year JCI Mayo are thrilled to be hosting this National event and we are even more excited to be opening it up to the public!
Did you know that a fear of public speaking can have a significant impact on your career? If you think about it for a second, from the boardroom to a pitch to meetings, nearly every industry involves some form of speaking in front of a group.
Does the thought of getting up in front of a group make you break out in a sweat?
What about a wedding, or family function? Does that speech give you sleepless nights for months?
So many of us feel this way and one way to overcome this fear is to practice in a supportive environment. Receiving practicable training from someone who has been in a similar position will give you the basic tools to get started.
You might currently be petrified of speaking in public but why not take on the challenge, face your fear, and be able to stand up anywhere and deliver a few words or a full-blown speech.
So, Do you want to improve your public speaking skills?
Or would you like to hear from World Champion JCI debaters?
If so, join out public speaking and debating training, with lunch included, beginning at 12pm on Saturday, March 14th. With this public ticket, you can even stay and watch how JCI members put this training into practice and compete to represent JCI Ireland at the European Convention in Dublin this May.
-----
Also, on Sunday morning we will host a widely popular Project Management training from 9:30am - 12:30pm which will be hugely beneficial for those involved in either work and community projects. A separate ticket is available for this for non-JCI members.
This training goes over the basic components of project management related to planning, executing and evaluating projects. Participants will develop their skills to create a project statement, define clear objectives, identify and target meaningful partnerships, plan action steps and evaluate a project’s success.
-----
And if all of this is of interest why not get a full weekend ticket and join us for dinner & fun Saturday night, and get to know active young people from all industries from across the country.
This fun filled exciting weekend is for you, whether you're JCI's newest member, a longstanding 'jaycee', or someone who has never heard of JCI before but would like to learn from the training's that we offer.
We look forward to warmly welcoming people from across Ireland to Ballina and showcasing the beauty of Mount Falcon Estate.
Further information and updates in advance of the conference will be announced on the Facebook event page.
