This competition is set up to empower the creative edge of young citizens and college students by providing opportunities that empower young people to create a positive change.

 JCI Ireland is organising a National Lapel Pin Design Challenge.

JCI Ireland (Junior Chamber International Ireland) is the world’s foremost NGO focusing on personal development, nurturing entrepreneurship and international networking for young professionals aged 18 years to 40 years. It is one of the few organisations to have a consultative status with the United Nations. JCI Ireland was founded on 14th May 1957 and was affiliated to JCI (Junior Chamber International) in 1958. JCI has a global network of  150,000 members in about 124 countries, with regional or national organizations in most of them. 

JCI Ireland is organising a National Lapel Pin Design Challenge. The challenge is to design a lapel pin for JCI Ireland which should capture the values while symbolizing the mission and vision of JCI movement. A pin that will mark the year of 2021 a historic movement in JCI Ireland. The selected design will be made into pins that JCI members can use as souvenirs and for exchanging within the JCI network. As such the legacy of your design will live on forever!

Challenge timeline 

  • Challenge Start Date: 08th February 2021 (Monday) 
  • Submission Deadline: 11:59pm 07th March 2021 (GMT) (Sunday) 
  • Winner Announcement: JCI Ireland Online Spring Conference, 13th March 2021 (Saturday)

Eligibility and guidelines

This challenge is open to all residents living in Ireland aged 18-40.
